I recently met this girl who was on the euthanasia list at a local shelter due to her alleged dog reactivity in the shelter. One of the fabulous local rescues saw through this girl and pulled her out, put her in a foster home, and took the right steps to introduce her to the resident animals and guess what? She is doing great!
So often animals are not themselves in local shelters. They are scared, defensive, and sometimes shut down. The shelters do what they can with what they have to work with, but thankfully local rescues and their loving foster homes help these dogs through the transition so they can decompress, relax, and be the best version of themselves before being adopted! The fosters get to know them and help find the right home for them.
I just love Avery… please share her and let’s find her a forever home. Available for adoption through Furever Home Rescue – MN.
